To secure the funding our city needs to care for people experiencing homelessness, we first have to know how many neighbors we are serving. That’s why we invite you to join the Jackson community for the annual Point-In-Time (PIT) Count.When: Wednesday, January 28th
Time: 5:30 AM
Where: 1208 Greenwood Church
At the church, you (and your group) will receive:
A map of a specific area to survey
Simple forms to record basic information
Supply bags to offer to those you encounter
After completing your assigned area, return to the church to turn in your forms and any remaining supplies.
Thank you for being part of this important and eye-opening morning. The more volunteers who participate, the more accurate our count will be—helping us better understand the scope of homelessness in our city, raise awareness, and unlock vital funding for the local organizations working tirelessly to serve our unhoused neighbors.
