Join us Sunday, August 24th for this very special Homecoming Sunday! The Litteljohn Meeting House began during the birth of our nation and was the place of worship for Methodists, Baptists, and Lutherans. Circuit Riders traveled long distances to worship in areas throughout the countryside and share the gospel with those hungering for the "good news".
We are blessed to have as our guest speaker the bishop of the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church , Bishop Ben Carter.
Please spread the word to friends, family, and neighbors and visit us for an hour of worship followed by plenty of food and fellowship with our covered dish supper. Bring your favorite family dish----there will be plenty for all to enjoy.
The Courtney Chapel (which was built from the original logs of our church that was dismantled after the civil war) will be open for tours afterwards.
Whether you are a longtime member or you are just visiting we would love to have you here to share this occasion with us!
Rev. Richard Irwin will be delivering the message and there will be a covered dish dinner on the grounds following the service. Hope to see you there!

11:00 am - 12:30 pm Worship Service
12:30 pm - 1:45 pm Covered Dish Luncheon
Bring your favorite salad, appetizer, entrée, side dish, bread, dessert and drink to share with the group.
