Homecoming at Local

There's just something special about "home."
Our next Good News Sunday is themed “Homecoming” — a special East Tennessee-inspired gathering for the whole community on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
During our 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM gatherings, we’ll blend the warmth of an old-fashioned Southern homecoming with the charm of Knoxville history and hospitality.
Together, we’ll celebrate what makes this city special — our people, our food, and the good news that unites us. We'll also enjoy a Pie Contest and Sweet Tea Bar, with one lucky baker taking home a KitchenAid Stand Mixer!
This is a day for everyone who calls Knoxville or Local Church home! In fact, this is the perfect Sunday to invite someone far from God.
