Homecoming 2026

Join Arnett Chapel AME Church for Homecoming ’26 as we celebrate 128 years of faith, family, service, and community!
This year’s theme, “128 Years Building Together: One Team, One Purpose,” is inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:9–10: “Two are better than one… If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”
Homecoming is more than a celebration of our history. It is a joyful reunion of current members, former members, families, friends, and neighbors who have helped build Arnett’s legacy. Throughout the weekend, we will honor the generations who came before us, celebrate what God is doing today, and recommit ourselves to working together to strengthen our church and community.
Homecoming Sunday will feature uplifting worship, music, shared memories, andfellowship. Our guest preacher will be Rev. Dr. Derrick Rice. Whether Arnett has been your church home for decades, you have been away for a while, or you are joining us for the first time, there is a place for you on the team.
