The laughter is coming to Lock Haven when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at the Backroom Whiskey Bar in the Hangar 9 Restaurant and Lounge on Saturday, Oct. 3. Jeremy Pryal is headlining the show and Ryan Flaherty is joining host Mike Peters.
The show starts at 8 p.m., but get there early to get some drinks. Tickets are free, so tip the staff really well. Seating begins at 7:30 p.m.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Ryan P. Flaherty is a comedian from Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He made his Netflix debut on a K*ll Tony episode filmed at Madison Square Garden. He’s performed at Don’t Tell Comedy shows, the Crooked Mouth Comedy Festival, Krackpots Comedy Club in Ohio, Rhino Comedy, the Scranton Fringe Festival and probably in your weird friend’s garage. He’s also a member of the Scranton Improv & Comedy Players. Additionally, and most important: His favorite color is green.
Jeremy Pryal started doing stand-up in the Scranton area when he was 17 years old. He spent time working in the Philadelphia scene before coming back to Scranton. He performs all over the northeast, using his dark and intelligent sense of humor to get the audience laughing.
