Homebrewed Comedy at The Eagles No. 97

The laughter is coming to Deerfield when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at The Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 97 on Thursday, Nov. 21. Will Phillips is headlining the show and Bill Lake is joining host Mike Peters.

The show starts at 7 p.m. You can get tickets for $5 at the bar before the show or $10 at the door, which opens at 6 p.m. Come out and enjoy the show.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.

A former contributing writer for David Letterman and Craig Ferguson, Bill Lake is a host at the Syracuse Funny Bone, performed yearly at the Binghamton Comedy Crawl and is a founder of the Boho Comedy Club in Binghamton. He’s performed at the Salem Comedy Festival, the Rubber City Festival, the Asheville Comedy Festival, the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, the Plano Comedy Festival, the Cleveland Comedy Festival and North Carolina Comedy Festival. One of Binghamton’s strongest comedians, Lake uses his smart writing to entertain audiences all over the upstate area. He made the finals of Buffalo’s Funniest Person in 2021, and he opened for Dana Gould and Dusty Slay.

A talented comedian, writer and author, Will Phillips is a Utica favorite. He’s the head of content development for Stage Time Trivia, which serves several restaurants around the Central New York area, and co-created the popular KoldCast web series, M**der Squad, D.B.A. Before his stand-up career began, Phillips spent two years working with Family Guy and wrote Hollywood Failure, which was published in 2014.
