The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Friday, Jan. 17. Karen Rontowski is headlining the show and she'll be joined by Mike Brindisi, Paul Lee Camp and host Mike Peters.

The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.

Paul Lee is a very funny comedian out of Binghamton. Armed with quick jokes and hard punches, he’s one of the regulars in a growing scene. Lee got a late start in stand-up, but he’s quickly making up some ground.

Mike Brindisi has spent the last two decades touring and performing with his band and as a stand-up comedian. He’s a radio host and an actor. His love for music, comedy and acting has created a hybrid of a show like no other and has allowed him to show his work on Saturday Night Live, The Howard Stern Show, MTV and the Vans Warped Tour. Give him a microphone and he’ll entertain you with high energy from start to finish.

Karen Rontoswki’s stand-up showcases endearing, self-effacing and intelligent characters that catch you by surprise every time. She uniquely blends comedy with her experience as a Paranormal Investigator, Tarot and reiki master. Rontowski has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, Sirius Satellite Radio, Comics Unleashed, Comedy.com, Live at Gotham, Comedy Central and Mysteries of the Unexplained. You can see her Her Dry Bar Comedy special called Ridiculous Me on VidAngel.com, where it’s receiver more than 20 million views. Her second special, War and Instant Pudding, came out in 2022.
