In celebration of National Day, join us at Book Bar on Friday, 7th August for a chat about one of Singapore' quiet successes - the growing number of Singapore-based speculative fiction writers finding publishers and audiences in the U.S, U.K, and other parts of the world.
About the Featured Writers
Eliane Boey, Megan Chee and Joyce Chng all work in speculative fiction, in a staggering variety of genres. All three have published multiple works of fiction, including novels, novellas, and short stories that have appeared in international publications such as Clarkesworld, Lightspeed and more.
How did they do it? What are the challenges that come with working within the huge U.S and U.K systems, navigating agents, representation, submissions, publishers, marketing and more?
