HOME SCHOOL: HOME at the Gallery

Join us for this special program targeted at Home School families, exploring the works of local Hawkesbury artists and investigating concepts such as what makes a home, as well as how this is represented through art. In this 2-hour workshop, led by experienced artist educators, learners will discuss what they see, explore the exhibition HOME: A Place We Call, and create their own artistic representations of home.

For this program, learners will be broken into two groups based on age (5-8 years and 9-13 years). While preschool aged children will not be able to participate in the program, they are welcome in the Gallery space with parental supervision. Parents are required to remain within the Gallery throughout the workshop.

Terms and conditions:

· An adult must remain within the Gallery space at all times. All participants must be signed in by a guardian at the beginning of the workshop and signed out at the end of the workshop.

· Do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.

· SMILE! Your attendance at events supported by Hawkesbury City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs. Images may be used for promotional purposes on Council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers.By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.

· If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the programme.

Cancellation/refund polices:

· To receive a full refund (minus an admin fee), please cancel your ticket or notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled event. If less notice is given, a refund will not be issued.

· Refunds will not be given if participants change their mind, or simply forget to attend the event. For exceptional circumstances, refunds may be issued at the discretion of the Gallery & Museum Coordinator.

· A refund can take up to 7 working days to process after the event date (due to bank transfer times). Cash payment refunds can take up to 6 weeks to process.
