Homeschool Social:
Create & Paint Clay Workshops
Calling all homeschool artists ages 7+! Join us at The Pottery Patch for a hands-on clay experience designed especially for our homeschool community.
Each monthly workshop includes TWO sessions so kids can experience the entire clay process from start to finish.
SESSION 1 — CREATE WITH CLAY
Students will learn basic clay techniques as they create that month’s featured project from wet clay.
SESSION 2 — PAINT & FINISH
Two weeks later, students return to paint and add the finishing touches to their fired clay creation!
Workshop Details
📅 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month
⏰ 1:00–2:30 PM
🎨 Ages 7+
💲 $40 per child — includes BOTH sessions
👩🎨 Limited to 16 artists per workshop
All clay, supplies, firings and instruction from a Pottery Patch artist are included.
Each month features a new clay project, so homeschool artists can join us month after month and keep creating!
Registration
Pre-registration is required and space is limited to 16 artists.
Registration opens September 15 for our October, November and December workshops.
Please Note: Registration includes both workshop dates for the selected month.
Because space is limited, we are unable to offer refunds for missed Create With Clay workshops. A one-time studio credit may be issued, if space is available, and must be used within 2 months of the originally scheduled class date if space is available.
If a student misses the Paint & Finish session, they may return during our normal business hours to complete their project. Our staff will provide basic instructions and guidance for the painting technique; however, the make-up session will not include the full, instructor-led workshop experience.
✨ Come get your hands in the clay, learn something new and create something completely your own!
Reserve your artist's spot early—our homeschool workshops are intentionally kept small!
