About this Event
Home Horticulture Foundations is a short course video series for beginner home gardeners in South Carolina. Videos feature a wide range of home horticulture topics from Clemson Extension Horticulture Agents Brad Fowler, Carmen Ketron, and Stephanie Turner.
Gardeners can learn the basics of home horticulture by participating in this program in one of two ways: the video series as a standalone or the video series + a live field day.
VIDEO SERIES ONLY
Registrants will enjoy two (2) prerecorded presentations released weekly for four (4) weeks for a total of eight (8) presentations.
VIDEO SERIES + FIELD DAY
In addition to the video series, video series + field day registrants will participate in a hands-on field day on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden, 500 Wildlife Pkwy, Columbia, SC 29210. The field day includes a garden problem clinic, hands-on maintenance demonstrations, a garden tour, and lunch.
