What will be so historic?
1. Scottish Heavy Events: Open Format. All classes contested. Everyone is welcome to compete. And, get excited for Male & Female Elite Athletes coming in from and representing Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Netherlands, Australia, South Africa, Italy, Sweden, and all over the USA. Maybe the return of some legends too!
2. Team Highlander Competition.
3. North American Backhold Wrestling Championships
4. Northeast Collar and Elbow Wrestling Championships
5. Celtic Stonelifting: “The Stone Man Challenge” Competition and Crowd Try-It Stations. Lifting Stones that will be present: An Cloch Bán from Ireland, Clach Fear Alba from Scotland, The Lundstrom Lift, and the famous Lundstrom Stones.
6. CrossFit Highland Challenge. Open to the Public.
7. Bataireacht. Irish Stickfighting.
8. Celtic Strength Culture Panel: Dr. Conor Heffernan, David Keohan, Martin Jancsics, Tom Billinge, Nathan Featherstone, & other special guests.
9. Celtic Village: Celtic organizations and Clans will have their own, FREE space.
10. The Black Harp Traveling Irish Pub & Guinness Ambassador Michael Reardon giving a “Perfect Pour’ demo and lecture.
This is a world first. No one has done this before. Not because we at NFG are doing it. Because of everyone working together, and those people seeing who we are and what we are really about. That’s what is making this so legendary. Come be a part of history!
