About this Event

William Friedkin’s adaptation of William Peter Blatty’s novel remains one of the most terrifying and technically astonishing horror films ever made. When 12-year-old Regan MacNeil begins behaving in ways that no doctor can explain, her mother turns in desperation to two Jesuit priests — one a psychiatrist losing his faith, the other an aging veteran of a rite he has never forgotten. Fifty years on, its craft, restraint, and dread have not been surpassed. A rare theatrical presentation on 16mm.
