The strangest film in this series and quite possibly the strangest film in the series’ history. Cobbled together from two separate, unfinished productions with no regard for narrative continuity, Spookies is a delirious tour through spider women, muck men, ouija boards, a sorcerer, and a fart-happy creature best left undescribed. A cult item of the highest order, beloved of horror fanatics for reasons that are difficult to justify and impossible to argue with. This screening will feature an introduction and book signing by the author of the recent novelization (pending confirmation).
