Come enjoy camaraderie and post-race festivities at the start/finish line of Home For Freedom’s Inaugural Marathon event!Help honor and support our nation’s veterans through contributing to Home For Freedom and walking or running your desired distance:
Full Marathon (26.2 miles)
Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
5K (3.1 miles)
All race participants will receive a finisher’s medal, and a race tshirt (guaranteed through at least 9/15).
We will also have overall awards for the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female runners, as well as age group awards (excluding overall winners) for EACH of the three distances:
19 & under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70+
Each overall and age group winners’ names and run times will be announced during the awards ceremony, which will be at approximately 11:30 am.
This will be an out and back course, so there will be plenty of other runners around you, the route is designed to allow for ease of spectating, and the entire course is on the Wichita Falls Circle Trail to avoid traffic.

Course is 6.55 miles (like the Hachie 50 in Waxahachie)
- 5K will turn around separately and this will be marked and have volunteers at the 5K turnaround.
- Half marathoners will complete one out and back loop.
- Full marathoners will complete two out and back loops.
Join us for the Pre-Race Spaghetti Dinner the night before the race. Packet Pickup will be available at the spaghetti dinner Friday, as well as Thursday afternoon/evening. Locations of dinner and packet pickup TBA.
