Holy Thursday — The Night of Love and Service
On Holy Thursday, we gather at the heart of the Christian story. We remember the night when Jesus knelt to wash the feet of his friends,
shared bread and wine as his very life,
and gave a new commandment: to love one another as he has loved us.
This is a night of tenderness and truth —
of service, sacrifice, and self-giving love.
A night when glory is revealed not in power,
but in humility.
Join us at St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral
as we enter the sacred drama of Holy Week
with the Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada,
Archbishop Shane Parker, as our preacher.
Come to participate and pray.
Come to be washed, fed, and sent.
Come and begin the great journey toward the Cross and the promise of Resurrection.
