Holy Saturday is one of the most powerful and uplifting services of the year — not to be missed! As we gather in darkness, a new fire is kindled and the Paschal Candle is lit, carried into church as a symbol of Christ’s rising light. We hear the story of God’s love for us through scripture, and then proclaim the resurrection of Jesus with joy and celebration.In this radiant moment, we renew our baptismal vows and share in the bread and wine of the Eucharist — signs of new life and eternal hope. Afterwards, stay and celebrate with a glass of something bubbly as we begin Easter together in light and gladness.
