Growing up in a rural community, he became enthralled with the music of Doc Watson, Merle Travis, and Robert Johnson. His sound has grown dramatically in recent years, mixing flavors of jazz and bluegrass into his traditional roots. As a solo act, Emmett provides an exciting, emotional performance brimming with energy.
