A night at the Cumberland Arms with folk harmony vocal/guitar/bouzouki duo Holly Clarke and George Sansome.

Holly Clarke and George Sansome are a dynamic new duo who sing traditional songs accompanied by intricately interwoven guitar and bouzouki.
Both with years of solo and band touring under their belts, Holly (Holly and The Reivers, RE:VULVA) and George (Granny's Attic, George Sansome and Matt Quinn) first came together as part of the Queer Folk Project in 2022, where they found their musical chemistry to be undeniable. Their shared love of traditional song and their warm stage presence made them a natural fit and they've been delving deep into archives together for old songs ever since.
As they pick their way through some of their favorite trad songs, Holly (guitar, vocals) and George (bouzouki, vocals) continually explore innovative ways of arranging the music between their instruments and voices. This is warm, intricate music full of life and brimming with the power of these old songs.
