Hollow Form River Rock Pendant - In-Person Jewelry Class

Discover how an ordinary river rock can become the focal point of a sculptural, handmade pendant in this hands-on class at Tucson Jewelry School.
You’ll learn how to drill a river rock and construct a dimensional hollow form around it, creating a finished pendant designed for a stone that doesn’t have the predictable shape of a standard cabochon.
This intermediate class is best suited for students who are comfortable using basic jewelry tools and following multi-step bench techniques. It’s an opportunity to build on foundational skills while exploring a more dimensional approach to pendant construction and stone setting.
Your instructor will be Kim St. Jean, Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist, who has more than 25 years of experience teaching jewelry making.
