Holland Township Puzzle Competition! 🧩
Get ready to put your teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test at Holland Township’s Puzzle Competition! Gather your crew, sharpen your minds, and prepare for an afternoon of fun, focus, and friendly competition.
Date: Saturday, August 15
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Lunch: Provided at 11:30 AM
Location: HCT Community Room
Team Details:
Teams of up to 4 participants
Ages 12 & Up
$40 per team
Limited to 30 teams total – register early!
Competition Format:
- Each team will receive an identical 500-piece puzzle, wrapped and ready to go. The challenge? Be the fastest team to complete it!
- Check-in begins at 11:15 AM
- Teams may select their table upon arrival (first-come, first-served). We will have a combination of rounds and rectangular tables available.
- Puzzles will be distributed at 11:50 AM (remain sealed until start time).
- Competition begins promptly at 12:00 PM. Official end time: 2:00 PM.
Rules & Guidelines:
- Hands only – no tools or aids allowed (this includes sorting trays, scoops, flashlights, etc.)
- No interfering with other teams—stay focused on your own puzzle
- Spectators are welcome but must not assist or distract competitors
- Teams may take breaks as needed (no official break times scheduled)
- Food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed at tables (at your own risk).
Prizes will be awarded to:
🥇 1st Place
🥈 2nd Place
🥉 3rd Place
If no team completes their puzzle within the time limit, judges will determine winners by counting remaining loose pieces.
Bonus Fun:
A puzzle exchange table will be available—bring a puzzle, swap, and discover something new!
