We will be making wreaths with mostly material collected in the Cemetery. We will be using non-shed evergreens, magnolia, with accent additions of cones, colorful twigs, berries and fruit.( You are welcome to bring your own accent material to add to your wreath). All materials and tools provided.WREATH WORKSHOP COST: $50
Before beginning to make wreaths, we will discuss composition, pitfalls and different techniques and material used.
We will use wire to wrap material to a wire ring.
Finished wreaths are suitable for indoor and exterior, many people keep them up all year.
You may need to wear a light pair of garden gloves.
No experience necessary. Everyone will leave workshop with something they are happy with.
All proceeds will benefit Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum.
Additional Workshops may be added.
Ready made wreaths will also be available at the @20th River Arts Show at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Dec. 6th and 7th.
