Take part in a hands-on workshop packed with experiments using things you might already have at home. We’ll explore a world where your kitchen becomes a laboratory and everyday ingredients unlock exciting science. In this workshop at the Ri, you’ll explore the surprising chemistry and physics hiding in your cupboards.

Expect things to get messy – in the best way! You’ll mix and experiment through a series of interactive challenges. Along the way, you’ll think like a scientist: ask questions, make predictions, and design experiments of your own.

This workshop blends creativity, curiosity, and hands-on discovery in a lively, engaging environment – inviting participants to see the science in everyday life, and to experiment with confidence.

For children who have just completed Years 3 and 4 this term - please book based on your child’s current/most recent school year, not their new year group from September. This typically corresponds to children aged around 7–9 years old. We reserve the right to refund or deny entry to those who are not in the correct year group.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
