Start your holiday season with a special guided tour of our historic houses decorated for the season. Each house is decorated appropriately to its time period, and you can see the emergence of modern holiday celebrations as you move through the museum. Your journey will end on the 1850s Virginian farm, where you can make a pomander, a historical aromatic decoration, from oranges and cloves!
This workshop is $15 per person and will run from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The $15 charge includes all materials needed to create your craft. We recommend all attendees arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to allow time to walk down to the exhibit area. A shuttle service will be available during the workshop. Each workshop also includes entrance into the museum for the rest of the day.
