About the authors:

EMILY FOX is a writer and showrunner whose credits include The Watchful Eye (Freeform), Hindsight (VH1), Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce (Bravo), Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC), Daybreak (Netflix), Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (Netflix), the feature film New York Minute (Warner Bros) and last year’s Leah’s Perfect Christmas for Hallmark. She is currently penning a pilot entitled Royal Spin for Peacock and NBCU. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two kids, and 50 guppies as of this writing.

IVA-MARIE PALMER is the author of numerous books for children and teens, including the highly-acclaimed YA rom-com Gimme Everything You Got and The Jules Verne Prophecy series with Larry Schwarz. Before turning full-time to writing, she worked as a web editor and writer for the Walt Disney Company, as an award-winning reporter, and up close and personal with many a Christmas person as a Hallmark store employee. Iva-Mcurrently resides in Burbank, California, with herhusband and two sons. Christmas People is her first adult novel.

LISA HAMILTON DAY is a partner in Cottage Industry Entertainment, based at Fox Entertainment Studios, and is focused on making movies and series in the rom com and holiday space. Previously she was EVP, Programming, at Hallmark Media, where she shepherded their extensive slate of holiday movies and also introduced holiday series, including HOLIDAZED, MISTLETOE MURDERS, and the upcoming TWELVE DATES TIL CHRISTMAS, based on the book by Jenny Bayliss, as well as the series THE WAY HOME and THE CHICKEN SISTERS. In her role as Director, Original Series at Netflix, she oversaw series including VIRGIN RIVER, SWEET MAGNOLIAS and FIREFLY LANE. She also previously worked at Lifetime and Dreamworks Pictures. Lisa starts decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving.

JORDAN ROTER is a published novelist, screenwriter, and TV writer/producer who has adapted multiple novels (including her own) and international formats for TV and film. Among her credits, Roter adapted LET IT SNOW, a book of short holiday stories by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle for Fake Empire and Paramount. Currently, Roter is adapting her third novel, a female-driven satire called MOMS LIKE US (Little A, 2025) as a TV show for MGM Studios. Roter was raised in Manhattan, lives in Los Angeles with her husband, kids, and their dog, Alfie…and has a complicated relationship with the holiday season which is why she loves to write and read and talk about them.
