Our tradition of tea with history will explore the history and etiquette of gloves and look at the influence of the Van Raalte Silk Mills, which was located across the Canal from the Long Homestead.
Items from our vintage collection produced at the Van Raalte Mills will be on display and include hosiery, nightwear, and gloves in many styles and colors. Van Raalte’s motto was “Because You Love Nice Things”. Find out more about this somewhat forgotten industry.
