Our Zoo is helping keep waste out of landfills by recycling unwanted holiday string lights. On January 24 & 25 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., bring your broken, burned out or old string lights to our drive-thru drop-off point in the bus parking spots near the front of the Zoo!Please note that we are collecting holiday string lights only – no floodlights, extension cords, light hooks or other holiday decorations.
Black Hole Makers will also be onsite during this event to collect electronics for recycling. Consider bringing your old desktop or laptop computers, phones, tablets, gaming systems, printers, monitors, batteries of any kind, stereos, CD players, servers, networking equipment, racks, rails, cables, and miscellaneous hardware for recycling!
