The five categories you can choose from are:
1. Winter Wonderland: Create a spectacular snowy scene with sparkling lights, shimmering icicles, and enchanting snowmen. Let your imagination run wild and transport visitors to an ethereal winter wonderland.
2. Hallmark: Inspired by the heartwarming movies and nostalgic charm of Hallmark Christmas specials, bring the magic of Hallmark to life. Think classic Christmas colors, cozy decorations, and a touch of romance.
3. Freakin’ Eurekan: This category is for the bold and fearless decorators who aren’t afraid to push the boundaries of traditional holiday themes. Show off your unique style and let your personality shine through with unconventional decorations that scream “Eureka Springs!”
4. Griswold: If you’re a fan of the classic holiday movie “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” then this category is for you. Embrace the spirit of Clark Griswold and go all out with outrageous displays, over-the-top lights, and comically exaggerated decorations.
5. Grinch: Are you a bit of a scrooge when it comes to the holidays? Embrace your inner Grinch and create a unique, eye-catching decoration that celebrates your love for all things grumpy and green.
By entering the Eureka Springs Holiday Home Decoration contest, you will not only have the chance to have a yard sign award and a custom Christmas ornament but also gain recognition as the “Best Holiday Home Decoration in Eureka Springs.” The winning decorations will be celebrated and acknowledged within the community, spreading holiday cheer to all who see them.
