Sweet Dream:Sweet Dream is a Greensboro NC-based psychedelic power pop fusion group, a genre designation that is fitting of their recordings. On stage however, you never know what you’re going to get - virtuosic playing, extra jams, total improvisation, jazz standards, and sometimes even straight ahead power pop and rock n roll.
Sweet Dream is the musical brainchild of guitarist, vocalist, and bandleader Julian Creech-Pritchett. Filling out the live band are Ramon Garcia on bass and Xavier Ware on drums. In the studio, Creech-Pritchett generally plays everything, aside from listed features on various songs.
Emanuel Wynter:
Hailing from Charlotte, classically trained violinist and songwriter Emanuel Wynter is taking ears and stages by storm with a distinctive sound and a lively, high-spirited stage presence that is infectious to everyone in the room. Taking influence from artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Leon Bridges, and Gary Clark Jr., Emanuel’s sound is a unique, vibrant, and expressive blend of R&B and Rock that manages to be raw in emotion and refined, sonically. He finds a way to sing, not only through rich and soulful vocals, but through his electrifying violin playing that is, at times, quite reminiscent of electric guitar. With dynamic musicianship and sincere lyricism, Emanuel Wynter is sure to keep your toes tapping and your soul singing.
In past years, Emanuel played a supporting role as auxiliary violinist in other NC-based groups, such as 9daytrip, Stick & Stones, and many more, but 2018 was the year in which he introduced himself as a songwriter and artist with the release of Cosmos. That ultimately led to his first EP release in early 2020, titled These Past Two Years, that Delaney Clifford from CLTure described as “an album that refuses to be overlooked.” In October of 2023, Emanuel ushered in the next chapter of his musical journey with the release of From Orbit, a live album that earned him a Best in the Nest nod from the writers at Queen City Nerve.
Donnie Deneil:
Born and raised in the Port City, Wilmington North Carolina, Donnie Deneil moved to the triangle area 5 years ago and has been making a run for it ever since! Before he could form sentences, he would hum the melody’s of Erykah Badu and Jill Scott. all throughout his life he’s been involved in music whether it was singing in the children’s choir every third Sunday, being in the chorus program at school or even having a bit of time playing the cello in middle school he’s always had an ear for the music. But it wasn’t until his high school years that he took a deep dive into the theater world which in a way has majorly shaped how he views himself as an artist to this very day!!! Nowadays He’s been making waves on the music scene in the triangle, Making Moves with the Duck band becoming a name at the Shakori Hills grass roots festival and Now creating his own path embarking on his solo journey. Donnie Deneil is guaranteed to put on a show whenever and wherever the music takes him !
