Join Artvana at Ocean5 for Holiday Gnome and some creative time together!
Our Kids & Family events are made for families who want to get out of the house, try something creative, and make a memory together. Kids can paint. Grown-ups can paint. Grandparents, siblings, aunties, uncles and favorite grown-ups can paint too.
No one needs to be "good at art" to belong here.
Whether your child already fills every available piece of paper with drawings or is picking up a paintbrush for the first time, we'll meet them right where they are.
Art Made for Real Kids (and Their Grown-Ups)
At Artvana, we believe creativity should feel exciting—not intimidating.
Our Artvana Artist will paint alongside the group and break the project into approachable, kid-friendly steps. We'll demonstrate, encourage, answer questions and help when someone needs it.
But we also leave room for imagination.
Want a purple sky instead of blue? Go for it. Want to add a rainbow, a pet, extra flowers or something completely unexpected? We love that.
The example painting is a starting point. Every artist gets to make theirs their own.

These events aren't just about watching the kids have fun. When the event is offered for families/all ages, grown-ups are welcome to purchase a seat and paint alongside them.

Screens and schedules can wait for a little while. Sit together, talk, laugh, get some paint on your hands and go home with something you made.
More Than a Painting
Kids need creativity.
They need opportunities to experiment, make decisions, solve little problems, use their imaginations and discover what they're capable of.
And sometimes families simply need something FUN to do together.
For some kids, painting comes naturally. Others need a little encouragement before they make that first brushstroke. Some will carefully follow every step. Others will turn our painting into something entirely their own.
All of them are doing it right.
We've spent years painting with artists of all ages, and one of our favorite things is watching someone look at their finished piece and realize:

A Few Things Before You Come
Please check the individual event details for any event-specific age recommendations or requirements.
Every person who will be completing the art project needs their own ticket unless the event listing specifically states otherwise.
Please arrive a little early so your family has time to check in, find seats, and get settled before painting begins.
Food and beverages, when available at the venue, are purchased separately and are not included with your Artvana ticket.
Advance registration is recommended. Our events can sell out, and registering ahead helps us make sure we've brought enough supplies for every artist.
Your Seat Is at the Table
Your child doesn't have to be "artistic."
Neither do you.
Come because your kid loves to create. Come because you want to try something new together. Come because you need an afternoon out of the house. Come because your family could use a little more color, laughter and creativity in the week.
