Good morning, my fabulous bakers. The ladies of the auxiliary at the Rising Sun Legion have two great baking events. We hope that you can participate in these events with your talented baking skills.
The first event is on Saturday, November 22, from 9-1.
This event is called
"Holiday Cookies & More Tasting Event."
We ask that you provide samples for 125 people for tasting. Unlike the chocolate event we had,
You WILL be able to sell your cookies & more. Plus you can take orders for the holidays. There is no charge to you, but it is first come, first serve for the tables. They are 8' tables which you will have a space of 4'. If you need an 8' table, you will have to send a $25 deposit that will be returned on the day of the event. If you don't show up, your check is not returned.
Like before, we ask that you enter through the double glass doors around back, no later than 9 am. You must be set up and ready to serve at 10 am. ending at 1:00pm.
You will have a table behind you to share for storage and also underneath the table.
Please remember to lable your baked goods in front of you and also state if it contains nuts or coconut.
Remember, each baker is to provide 65 samples consisting of at least 2 bites.
We had such a great turnout for the first Chocolate Tasting Event, we know it will be even bigger. Just like before, you will need to provide your own serving and cutting utensils and any decorations for your presentation. Plastic table cloths will be supplied unless you want your own.
There will be a moson jar at each bakers table to collect the tickets for each sample you provide. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.00 for a strip of 10 tickets. Please remember to collect each ticket for a sample at your table.
Disposable gloves, plates, and napkins we will provide.

Our second event will be on May 9th. This will be our Chocolate Tasting Event. Time from 10-1 just like the cookie tasting event. The same rules apply. Let us know if you are interested in further information as the event gets closer.
