Even in the coldest parts of winter, signs of wildlife can still be seen! Come learn about how Kansas animals has adapted to survive through winter and then join us for a hike to see if we can find any signs of active wildlife. Beforehand, we will construct a take-home nature journal to bring along with us to record any findings. After a chilly hike, cocoa will be served. Binoculars are limited, so please bring them if you have them. We recommend having the Merlin, iNaturalist, or Seek apps downloaded on your cellular devices to help ID if you would enjoy! Dress to be outside. All children must be supervised by an adult.
