EVERYONE WELCOME!
This event celebrates individual self expression and participation! There’s nothing you have to do and nowhere you have to go!
In the afternoon there will be coloured powders to throw along with face and body painting, so consider wearing something white to join in a playful celebration of the One Light that expresses as every colour in the universe!
Vending, trading, and gifting are encouraged, so you are encouraged to please bring a table or what is necessary to set up your items/offerings!
Holi occurs at a time of spring cleaning, so clean house and bring a table to set up with your yard sale/boot sale items!
Remember to bring food for a vegetarian potluck after the yoga class!
After dark there will be a full moon fire flow jam and soft fireworks!
Here’s the schedule of happenings:
2:00pm - earliest arrival time for those setting up sale, trade, and/or gifting items. If you need a table, you must arrange that yourself!
3:00 - official start!
Celebrated fine artist Nadja Marks will be offering face and body painting! Everyone welcome to begin browsing, trading, gifting, socializing, and to enjoy mandala art by Truman Adams! Please bring the items you want to use such as a folding chair, a yoga mat, your meditation cushion, drums, and etcetera.
3:30-4:30 - throwing of colours. Coloured powders will be provided, but you may bring your own! Wear white or swimwear. Colours will wash out!
5:00 - Kirtan/devotional chanting with Lotus Heart!
6:00 - yoga practice led by Jaye Martin ending in Savasana for Sacred Sound Harmonics with Keco on Flute.
7:00 Crystal Bowl Sound bath with Annie Williams offering Sacred Sound Harmonics, and Keko (Keith Coker) on Flute
7:30 - vegetarian potluck
8:00 - special performance by dance artist Marguerite Barnett followed by most auspicious musical performances by Galactic House Artists including OPTIMYSTIC! (Formerly known as Myles Optimistic) and Killam with Kindness with fire flow jam (white gas provided), and soft fireworks. You may bring your own SOFT fireworks.
11:00 begin quiet time.
