Hole in the Wall Theater’s Annual Meeting is coming up on June 26th at 7 PM. The meeting may be attended in-person at 116 Main Street, New Britain, CT 06051, or by joining via the Zoom link below.

Everyone who attends the Annual Meeting, or any General Meeting at HITW, is a voting member simply by virtue of attending. At the Annual Meeting, the two major items will be the selection of the mainstage productions that will be performed in our 2025 season, and the election of our Board of Directors.
Not only does being a member allow you to vote on those things, but any member of the theater may also propose a mainstage production to be voted on at the Annual Meeting, and any proposal may be voted in by a two-thirds majority of votes for a particular slot! In order to propose a show, you must:
- Attend at least one General Meeting prior to pitching the show.
- Have a commitment from a director and a producer.
- Have either the director or producer in attendance at any meeting where the show is being voted on.
- Make two scripts available in the theater (or a digital copy with permission from the rights holder) no later than 14 days before voting.
- Notify the membership that scripts are available.
During your pitch at the Annual Meeting, you should be prepared to field a variety of questions, including, but not limited to, questions about your show, your cast, your proposed budget, the availability of rights, and the vision and experience of your director.
The last two General Meetings before our Annual Meeting will be April 17th at 7 PM and May 8th at 7 PM. If you would like to pitch a show, it is important that you meet the membership and learn about how HITW operates. The meetings will be held at the same address as the Annual Meeting, and may be attended via the same Zoom link.
