A Grit & Grace Folklife Production

This summer, Grit & Grace returns with Holding Our Own, an original theatrical production written and directed by award-winning playwright Nancy Hasty and produced by Latilda Hughes-Neel, who also serves as musical director.
Inspired by the voices, memories, and lived experiences of Walton County residents, Holding Our Own weaves together storytelling, music, and community to celebrate the resilience, humor, heart, and heritage that define this place we call home. Grit & Grace's mission is to preserve Walton County's history through original oral history-based performances that connect generations and strengthen community.
