A Hold Space Event
Make something with your hands, play something ridiculous, and carve out a little space for yourself.
Life can be busy. Making friends as an adult can be surprisingly hard. Sometimes you just want to get out of the house, try something new, and be around other people without feeling like you have to work the room.
That's why Hold Space exists.
Hold Space events are designed around three simple things:
🎨 Make something with your hands.
🎉 Play something a little ridiculous.
🧩 Create opportunities for connection that feel natural, not forced.
Coming alone? Perfect. Many people will be.
No artistic talent required. No awkward networking. No need to bring a friend.

🎂 MAKE: Embroidered Bento Cakes
Decorate your own bento cake using sprinkles to create designs that look hand embroidered. Equal parts charming, delicious, and surprisingly satisfying.
🦊 PLAY: Coyote
Coyote is what happens when someone takes a simple memory game and says, "But what if we made it just a little chaotic?"
Mess up the pattern and you're out. Last player standing wins.
🤫 CONNECT: Secret Missions
At the beginning of the event, you'll receive a secret mission to complete before the afternoon ends.Maybe you'll make someone laugh. Maybe you'll offer encouragement. Maybe you'll recruit an accomplice for a delightfully ridiculous task.
The mission? That's classified.
WHAT TO EXPECT
2:00 PM – Welcome
Arrive, grab a snack, settle in, and receive your secret mission.
No rushing. No pressure.
2:15 PM – Play
We'll kick things off with a few rounds of Coyote. Expect laughter, mild betrayal, and the realization that remembering three simple actions is somehow much harder under pressure.
2:45 PM – Connect
Secret Mission time. Throughout the afternoon, you'll complete your undercover assignment and discover that some of the best moments happen when we're willing to be a little brave, a little playful, and a little unexpected.
3:15 PM – Make
Decorate your embroidered bento cake while enjoying music, conversation, and the very real debate over whether it's too pretty to eat.
4:00 PM – Wrap Up
Head home with your cake, a few new stories, and perhaps the realization that you may not be as sneaky as you thought you were.
