About this Event
RSVP is required to attend.
Domestic violence affects everyone. It is a widespread issue that, even when not immediately deadly, can escalate quickly. In the United States, millions are impacted by domestic violence each year. According to CDC data from the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS), an average of 20 people are physically abused by an intimate partner every minute.
How can we, as community members, leaders, and public servants, work together to address domestic violence and stop it before it escalates?
Join District Attorney Anita Howard and special guests, including survivors, activists, and community leaders from Central Georgia, for an important discussion. We’ll explore the prevalence of domestic violence, research-backed solutions, and the path to healing and hope for affected communities.
Lunch will be provided, and seating is limited. Please RSVP early to secure your spot!
