๐ฃ The Holcombe 10 Race! ๐โโ๏ธ ๐โโ๏ธ ๐ ๐ฅ โช๏ธA challenging 10K or 10 Mile race across Holcombe Moor in collaboration with the National Trust.
โช๏ธEach route has been created to purposely showcase much of the incredible conservation and land management work the National Trust has undertaken over recent years.
โช๏ธSetting off from the Hare & Hounds, Holcombe Brook, the route starts with an immediate dash through the beautiful Redisher Woods before commencing the brutal climb up to the iconic Peel Tower.
โช๏ธA good runnable stretch onwards from Peel Tower along the bridleway before ascending up onto the moor by Beetle Hill.
โช๏ธThe 10K route will contour to Pilgrims Cross, then over Harcles Hill, before descending back from Peel Tower, enjoying more of Redisher Wood Nature Reserve.
โช๏ธThe 10 Mile route will contour around Bull Hill, picking up the mosses and head towards Crowthorn and Quarlton Heights. Following the bridleway to cross Red Brook, before another ascent to Pilgrims Cross, where you will rejoin the route to finish back at the Hare & Hounds.
