Continuing our tradition of East meeting West, we invite you to Hoku Tozai Taikai 2025, where two teams will face off in a friendly competition.The Taikai welcomes everyone, beginners and sensei alike, coming from different countries. You'll have the chance to duel with opponents of a similar level. Whether you're looking to learn the basics of shiai or challenge experienced kendo players, there's something here for you.

17:00–17:30 Jigeiko
18:30 Sayonara sauna (TYY) – youth juniors’ sayonara at the school

09:00–12:00 Taikai Part 2
12:00–13:30 Lunch break
13:30–16:30 Afternoon jigeiko + workshops, separate programme for young juniors

-juniors and adults, levels from 5. kyu to several 7. dan
-participating countries: Finland, Sweden, Latvia, and more.

1) For juniors and adults arriving already on Friday: At All-Star dance school
2) For adults staying only from Saturday to Sunday: At Rumbita dance school
::: Payments :::
1) Event fee up to €30 (see fee categories on our site)
2) Floor accommodation for adults €10 per night.
