About this Event
RUN 101 is a six week beginner running program designed to help people learn to run.
Built for absolute beginners starting from scratch (or runners getting back into it), this guided program gradually builds participants up to completing FIVE KILOMETERS without stopping.
If you’ve been wanting to get into running but feel intimidated, unsure where to start, worried you can’t keep up, or simply don’t think you’re “a runner” — this program is for you.
Using the Run/Walk method, we’ll help you safely and confidently build endurance one step at a time in a supportive, inclusive and welcoming environment.
PROGRAM DETAILS
• Six week guided training program
• Weekly training calendar included
• Tuesday evening group runs + coaching
• Designed for beginners of all fitness levels
• Program Tuesday May 19th and culminates with the RUN 101 5KM on June 23.
GROUP RUNS + COACHING
We meet every Tuesday at 6:15PM for:
• A short beginner-friendly coaching session
• Guided group run/walk workout
• Questions, support and community
No experience necessary. No pace expectations. No one gets left behind.
BONUSES
