Get ready to rev your engines and rescue some tails! Join us at Hale’s Harley-Davidson for our Hogs & Dogs: Dog Adoption Event on Saturday, September 20th from 11AM–2PM — a day full of food, fun, and furry friends.We’re teaming up with the Richland County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center to help local pups find their forever homes. Hale’s Harley-Davidson will be covering all adoption fees for applications started during the event. Once you find your forever friend, the Richland County Dog Shelter team will help you fill out an application onsite. The approval process usually takes one to two business days, but don’t worry — as long as your application is started at our event on Saturday, September 20th, Hale’s Harley-Davidson will still cover the adoption fees, even if final approval comes a few days later.
Nearly 100 dogs are available for adoption right here in Mansfield, but you’ll see about 25-30 rotating through the event with their volunteer handlers. Each dog will spend about an hour at Hale’s before returning to the shelter so another pup gets a chance to be seen. That means the dogs you meet in the morning won’t be the same ones you’ll see in the afternoon. This rotation gives more pups the chance to be seen and enjoy a break from the shelter.
We’ll also have a free cookout with hot dogs, all the fixins’, ice cream, and pup cups for the four-legged friends.
While you’re here, help us Stock the Shelter! Hale’s Harley-Davidson will be an official donation drop spot for the Richland County Dog Shelter, collecting laundry supplies, dog and puppy food, Amazon gift cards, Busy Bones, Nyla Bones, and collars. Every donation stays right here in Richland County to help support our local shelter dogs. There will be a drop spot in the parking lot at Hale's on Saturday September 20th.
