It’s rodeo and fair season in Kittitas County, y’all! Kick off the Ellensburg Rodeo and Kittitas County Fair at the annual Hoedown in the Downtown, hosted by the Ellensburg Downtown Association. Hoedown in the Downtown is an annual celebration of music, food, local craft beverages, rural heritage, and community.Concert Lineup
Kick up your boots starting with line dancing lessons by The Dance Barn. Then, enjoy the rock-infused sounds of local opener Jukebox Central. Following Jukebox Central is guitarist and songwriter Kyle James, who will perform soulful originals and rowdy crowd pleasers with his full band. As the sun starts to set over the Cascade Range, we’ll welcome headliners Austin Jenckes with Cody Beebe & The Crooks.
Northwest-born and Nashville-based Austin Jenckes is returning to his stomping grounds for limited shows in the summer of 2025 to celebrate new music and his love for the fans in the PNW. Although being on NBC's The Voice in the early 2010s and receiving his first platinum record recently are major milestones, Austin is a family man at heart and does it all with his daughter in mind, setting the example that if you follow your dreams passionately, you just can't lose.
Cody Beebe & The Crooks are a Northwest Country staple and have been around the block a time or two, touring through 30 US states and 7 European countries over the span of ten years. Known for their progressive rock take on country music, they have found themselves playing Watershed at the Gorge three times, opening for notable acts all over the country, and successfully running their own music festival as a result of their die-hard fanbase, Chinook Fest.

We couldn’t celebrate rodeo and fair week without our families! Enjoy special western-themed games, booths, and crafts for the kiddos.
Crafted Beverages and Cuisine
Our celebration of local heritage flows right through to the craft beverage scene in Ellensburg. Guests 21 years of age and older will enjoy the beer, wine, and cider garden from Ellensburg breweries, wineries, and cider makers. Guests will also be able to purchase from local food, drink, and apparel/gift vendors while listening to the live music.
