Henning Memorial's Youth group will be hosting a silent and live auction on March 16th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. All proceeds from this auction will go directly back into our youth fund and will be used for mission trips and retreats as well as everyday up keep of youth activities. So what can you expect from the auction? Well, it is St. Patrick's Day themed so expect lots of four leaf clovers and green! But here are the details:
Tickets can be purchased before and after church service leading up to the auction. You can purchase them there even if you are not a member with us and you can even attend a service if you like because we would love to have you. You can also purchase tickets the night of, at the door. Tickets are $10 per adult and include your paddle for the live auction bidding, access to the baked potato bar, desserts, and refreshments, and covers your entrance into the silent auction. Everyone under the age of 18 will have free entrance.
We have around 30 items up for auction in our silent auction that range from gift baskets from Etie's and Victoria's on Oak to gift card packages, decor, and power tools.
We have around 20 live auction items as well ranging from weekend trips to Toledo Bend and handmade wooden furniture to a custom LSU fishing rod and autographed memorabilia from Jennie Finch.
So, come on out and support our Youth! You are sure to leave with a full belly, a full heart, and a trunk full of goodies!
