About this Event
This Hit Me Up event is open to the public, 21+.
Hey folks, this is Hawthorne. I do a LOT of impact scenes, both personally and professionally. Over a decade in the scene, I’ve honed my skills in terms of physical technique, but also in terms of negotiation, communication, consent, monitoring, and more. How do you maintain a confident, dominant, exciting frame for your scene partner, while also carefully navigating consent and making sure that they actually get an experience at the right intensity for their body and mind on a particular day?
There’s no substitute for building up intuition through experience, but I believe we can speed that process up by starting out in the right way, or learning new techniques and approaches. For the more experienced, seeing different approaches in action is always valuable to me. So what is this class? I’m going to talk you through, from start to finish, how I approach a scene—from initial conversations, to play, to aftercare. The goal is to give you an understanding of one possible sequence and approach, so that you can build up or modify your own.
Seductive Impact Scenes will cover:
- Basics of safety and consent in impact scenes
- Meeting new play partners in party situations
- Proposing scenes in low pressure, consent-focused ways
- Fast, effective, clear negotiation
- Navigating ongoing consent and negotiation while maintaining confidence and dominance
- Building immediate trust and chemistry
- Using touch and variety to deepen the experience
- Making impact blows that actually feel good
- Introducing verbal elements to create a deeper subspace (and when not to do that!)
- Knowing your own skills and limits
- Building your own dominant confidence
- Keeping things simple and not overthinking
- Playing with the person, not your toys
- Identifying when to end a scene BEFORE your partner hits their limits
- Aftercare and followup
- What you need to have in a basic impact toolkit
- Q&A and discussion broaden the scope
Rather than trying to handle every possible topic or situation, the goal of this class is to see the nitty gritty details of my particular approach. You can then take those ideas adapt them to your own needs and practices. This class will not teach a lot about specific impact toys, specialized techniques like florentine flogging. The goal is to think more deeply about the philosophy of dominance and submission, the psychology of both sides of it, and how to create a meaningful and personal experience in even a brief scene.
