HMS Unicorn's Winter Stories

Start off 2026 with two cozy storytelling sessions on the HMS Unicorn led by storyteller Yoli Poppins!

Bring your favourite teddy and get comfortable in our Captain's Cabin for some fun winter-themed storytelling, songs, and interactive play to start off the new year!

This session is designed for children aged 3+, though younger siblings may attend alongside their families.

Dates: Saturday 3rd January

Times: Story sessions take place at 10.30 and 11.30 and will last for about 50 minutes each. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the session.

Where: The Captain's Cabin on the HMS Unicorn

Know before you go

• All children to be accompanied by a parent or carer, who are encouraged to join in with the session too. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or carer, you are welcome!
• Purchased tickets will only cover access to one storytelling session and separate tickets are required to explore the rest of the ship
• The event will take place in the Captain's Cabin on the Gun Deck (entry level), the door to the cabin has a raised threshold which may make accessibility difficult for some
• Please dress warmly as the ship can be cold during this time of year, blankets can be provided during each session
• If any assistance is required please ask a member of staff or contact us in advance
