About Jessica Lalonde:
Jessica Lalonde is a Canadian vocalist celebrated for her versatility across jazz, classical, and contemporary music. Recently named one of Jazz FM91's "Eight Canadian Women in Jazz You Need to Know," she has performed with internationally renowned artists including Lang Lang, Brad Goode, Tim Ries, and collaborated with many of Canada's leading jazz musicians, among them JUNO Award winners Adrean Farrugia, Roberto Occhipinti, The Penderecki String Quartet, Chris Gestrin and others. Jessica has appeared at festivals across the country, including the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, The Stratford Summer Music Festival, The Leith Summer Festival, The Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival, Markham Jazz Festival, Beaches International Jazz Festival, and the Vancouver Art Gallery's FUSE Festival. She is featured on recordings by Will Currie and the Country French, Jaymz Bee, Jessica Stuart’s Joan Beckow Legacy Project, and has contributed backing vocals to several albums by Born Ruffians. Jessica headed the vocal studio at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish Nova Scotia from 2023-2025, and is one of the founding faculty at the now annual St. FX Summer Music Camp. She is currently completing a MMus graduate studies degree in Collaboration, Curation, and Creative Performance at Wilfrid Laurier University.
