Join Homelife Academy at Gordon Farms on April 12th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for some family fun! HLA Loves Community is an informative and engaging event that provides us opportunity to connect with the local homeschool community, to support, to listen and to show some love.
Our morning session, "Homeschooling 101," will provide insights on getting started, selecting curricula, and much more. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or picnic to enjoy during our "Lunch & Learn" segment, where we will share information about successful online learning and local dual enrollment opportunities. In the afternoon, we will present "Homeschooling 201," focusing on homeschooling during the middle and high school years.
This event will also feature a curriculum share, a student marketplace, popcorn and shaved ice, yard games, and various giveaways. Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Bring your questions and suggestions! We look forward to seeing you there!
