Hive Mind | Workshop | Brisbane Improv Festival 2026
About this Event
Hive Mind
Presented by Matías Avaca(Tāmaki-makau-rau/Auckland) as part of the Brisbane Improv Festival 2026.
Something is happening in the room: the group is breathing together, moving together, thinking together. Hive Mind explores how improvisers can find that collective intelligence on purpose. Working through body, voice, and mind, participants tune their spatial awareness, shared rhythm, non-verbal listening, and collective scene-making. The aim is not sameness, but a richer ensemble state where many voices, ideas, and impulses can move through one coherent performance.
Workshop Length: 3 hours
Recommended experience level: Intermediate (1-3 years experience)
