🌍 World AIDS Day 2025 🌍Join us on Monday, December 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM as Palm Beach County’s HIV Elimination Services (HIVES) hosts a special World AIDS Day Panel & Discussion.
Together we’ll celebrate progress, honor resilience and share how Palm Beach County continues to strengthen prevention, treatment, and care for every resident.
💬 Featuring HIVES Program Director - Dr. Casey Messer with A Year In Review presentation and Commissioner Bobby Powell Jr with the presentation of the 2025 World AIDS Day Proclamation.
💬 The distinguish panel will discuss:
• Major milestones in care
• The latest scientific, medical and service updates
• Review successes, barriers, and progress toward ending HIV in Palm Beach County
💡 Because prevention should be convenient, accessible and stigma-free. Our CTRL-HALT-DEL campaign is here to ensure that you get into care:
CTRL ~ Control your risk; empowering clients to take charge of their health while emphasizing the importance of being proactive in reducing risks of HIV.
HALT ~ Halt the spread; focusing on stopping the spread of HIV through treatment and harm reduction.
DEL ~ Delete the stigma; stopping the stigma and disparities in health outcomes, talking openly to help normalize the topic and correct misconceptions, while showing empathy and offering support.
