History Tour

On Saturday, July 11, I will be giving a tour of historic sites on the south side of San Antonio.
The tour will begin with the Spanish American War Memorial and the Theodore Roosevelt monument. There are five other sites within a mile (as the crow flies) that are worth exploring. Most of these sites are overlooked, even by by locals.
There will be walking involved. We will walk for about a mile, mostly on sidewalks, with light moderate elevation changes.
We will meet at Riverside Golf Course on July 11 at 11:00. It will be a warm day in south Texas, so bring a hat and some water. Sunscreen is recommended.
